Obituary: Don Helms

The sword guitarist Don Helms, world Health Organization has died aged 81, was the last surviving member of Hank Williams's Drifting Cowboys and featured on classics by the country singer-songwriter including Your Cheatin' Heart, I Can't Help It (If I'm Still in Love with You) and Cold, Cold Heart. Williams died on New Year's Day 1953, and in later days, Helms was modest near his donation to the legendary performer's success. Yet from and so on the "Helms sound" featured in the lick of nation music's best-known names - Jim Reeves, Patsy Cline, Stonewall Jackson and Johnny Cash among them.
